SAMANTHA FINISHED 3RD IN THE 6TH ROUND OF BRITISH RALLYCROSS (August 27, 2007)
Samantha had discovered a overheating problem in practice. Samantha's team changed and cleaned a number of things on the car but it still wasn't going right in the first heat were she finished 4th. So Samantha's team and Nick & Ben Powers team changed the head gaskit and other things trying to get the car fixed. So Samantha missed the Second heat while this was happing. She finished 4th in the third heat but the car still wasn't going right. Samantha's team just couldn't find the problem with her car so she was going out in the final to get points just. Samantha started the final in 6th and finished 3rd because Conor Flynn was docked a few places. This was a good result even though her car wasn't going right. So hopefully Samantha can get her car fix for the next race and she would like to say a big thank you to Nick & Ben & team and to everyone else who help her. Click here to return to the News page
