2005 Samantha moves into rallysprints at Aghadoewy and soon showed she could compete with the boys

Samantha then became the first girl to win a rallysprint at Aghadowey
Samantha raced in the winter series of the Rallysports Rallyspints at Agahdowey and after a hard fought ten round championship she finnised Second .
Samantha Completes First Year In Rallycross
Samantha had a very up and down year but for Samantha's first year she did very well. Samantha came third in the British Rallycross Championship, it was Samantha's first time doing the Championship and first time racing cars and also first time on all the tracks. Samantha was also the first girl ever to win a round of the championship which she did in her first race in the championship.
Samantha finished second in the Irish Rallycross Championship, which was also an excelent result for her in her first year in Rallycross.
